cfm-cmd-list - list of cmds in the cfm pkg with brief descriptions
cfm - Compare and optionally update config files or the database
copy of config files.
cfmd - Cfm database relative, ie with arg list composed of all
applicable files in the cfmdb.
cfmdb - Cfm database init, query, and erase cmd.
cfmds - Cfmd with output to CFMROOT/status/`hostname`_d.
cfmefl - Extract err filenames from a cfmds or cfmhs log.
cfmh - Cfm host relative, ie with arg list composed of all
registered config files plus all files in the /etc/ dir tree.
cfmhrlis - Internal cmd used to generate the host relative files list.
cfmhs - Cfmh with output to CFMROOT/status/`hostname`_h.
cfmsr - Cfm status report. Formats and output summaries the from last
cfmds, cfmhs, and cfmvs logs in CFMROOT/status/.
cfmugm - Cfm uid, group, mode and timestamp restore. Uses info from rpmdb.
cfmv - Cfm verify. Filters output from `rpm -V' to report unauthorized
alteration of installed files including ownership and permissions.
cfmvs - Cfmv with output to CFMROOT/status/`hostname`_v.
dirnav - Environment setup files for sh and csh function and aliases.
Provides:
cs - clear screen, echo dirname
d - echo dirname, list dir
dl - echo dirname, list dir in long format
g - go to dir, echo dirname
p - go to dir, echo dirname, list dir
rmbak - remove backup files from current dir
rpmsupd - Analyze and report status of installed rpms which are contained
in the target mirror dir. Generates the rpm cmd for updates then
prompts. Rpmsupd can be used for kernel updates; it handles the
ramdisk and lilo aspects.
rrbld - Rebuild rpm. For developers using cvs and rpm.
scmd - Ssh remote cmd with user's env.
A few of these are carry overs from past years of system admin and have not been recently reviewed for applicability or proper functioning.
cdist - Old safety wrapper for using rdist to distribute files.
cleanpath - Echo current PATH stripped of redundant entries.
cpdtre - Copy dir tree from source host to sink host on the net.
Execute from any host. Works in selected network environments.
ewl - Edit worklog. A worklog can be used to store and retrieve
data using keyword search.
expand4 - Expand tabs to spaces (default 4) in place. Preserves mode.
idd - Extended id cmd. Output includes hostname, TERM, DISPLAY,
shell, LOGNAME, umask, pwd, and PATH
pwchk - Echo passwd status. Ids empty passwords etc.
slmk - Symlink make. Sysadmin tool for symlinking bin & man files.
slrm - Symlink removal.
wle - Worklog extraction. Extract worklog entries based on keywords.
