xite, Xite, XITE - X-based Image Processing Tools and

Description
XITE is developed at the Image Processing Laboratory,
Department of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway.
XITE is software written in C for use under flavors of
the UNIX operating system. It consists of

File format BIFF (Blab Image File Format).

X11-based displayprogram with Image widget and GUI.

More than 170 programs for image processing.

More than 300 subroutines for image processing.

On-line documentation of routines and programs.

Some images in BIFF format.

xshow(1) gives access to just about all the algorithms
through a menu interface.
