Why?
--------------------
Boredom. A little project to divert my attention from more important
(and annoying) projects for a little while. My first gnome/gtk project,
so it's probably pretty shoddy. :) If anyone feels like making an icon
that doesn't suck, send it over. Make sure it's 46x46.

More Stuff
--------------------
I originally got the idea from a little Windows tray app that a friend
of a friend made (Murphy McCauley <murphymc@concentric.net>).
Decided Linux needed one, since the Windows version occupies the tray
of my Windows box at all times.
For the program that inspired gnome-8ball, go to http://www.deeth.com
and get Little Eightball.

Usage
--------------------
Install it, and add it to your panel. It'll create a file called
.gnome-8ball in your home directory in which it will store all answers,
separated by newline. To get answers just move your mouse pointer over
the applet and it'll display a tooltip with your answer. The button
doesn't do anything yet. Look at TODO for more info.

Development Platform
--------------------
Slackware Linux 4.0 (libc5)
gnome-libs 1.0.54
gtk+ 1.2.6
gdk 1.2.6
glib 1.2.6

Known Bugs
--------------------
For some reason, it allocates too much memory for some of the answers.
No reason. It just does. It's driven me insane enough, so I just decided
to leave it. If anyone knows why this is happening, drop me a line.

Bugs
--------------------
I've worked out all the bugs that I've noticed, but I wouldn't doubt
that there are quite a few more. If you find anything, please email
me at mocat@qpt.com.

Enjoy.
