Petey is a program that I wrote in C with my spare time to mostly just patch
up my skills in C.

Yes, petey is offensive. Yes, petey is vile. He's even at times racist,
sexist, foul mouthed, evil, and just about any other word you can think
of. But you can't say that he doesn't come up with some really cool sex
euphamisms. :)

Please understand that the author of petey is not a racist or a sexist, but that
doesn't mean he can't enjoy a good joke. Please take everything that you see in
Petey for exactly what it is, a joke, and have fun with it. I apologize if it
offends you. If it does, delete it and don't use it.

Now to the point of this file:

Should petey cause your computer to do any of the following, you
agree not to hold me, David Allen, responsible for any damages.

1.) Petey causes your system to be reduced to a pile of smoking rubble.
2.) Petey causes your system to begin spouting out all errors in Japanese.
3.) Petey gives you herpes.
4.) Petey causes blindness, and/or hairy palms.
5.) Petey gets your friend's teenage daughter pregnant.

Keep in mind that I'm not planning on any of those happening, (whether 4
happens is out of my hands, so to speak) but part of the meaning of the
GPL is that you agree not to sue me regardless of what petey actually
does. In other words, no warranty is given in any way. Should petey
start using your network connection to communicate with aliens alerting
them that earth is ripe for the plundering, you shall not hold me in any
way responsible.

You can send mail commenting on petey to s2mdalle@titan.vcu.edu. If you
send a bunch of mail screaming at "I can't believe how you could tell
jokes like that" I probably won't read it, but I always welcome comments,
questions, and even flames about program design, etc.

I'm always up for getting suggestions or additions to datafiles whatever
they might be. I'd love it if someone would email me a new set of
databases, like for instance, a Star Wars database series or whatever.
