13. Keyboard Macros

 

It can get very tedious and error prone to retype the same thing all the time...so editors normally have a way to program certain keys to execute a predefined sequence of key strokes. This facility is commonly referred to as a ``macro'' or ``keyboard shortcut''. Ved lets you program up to 36 different keys as macros.
