I have just posted to comp.lang.perl.misc a shar file containing the SHA (Secure Hash Algorithm) extension I have built for perl 5. To use it, get into the ext subdirectory of your perl distribution, make a directory SHA, get into that, and unpack the shar file. Rebuild perl, look at SHA.pod and sha_driver.pl, and you're off!
