Xref: usenet.cis.ufl.edu comp.lang.perl.announce:284 comp.lang.perl.misc:22867 I have uploaded to CPAN the following: $CPAN/authors/id/BMIDD/perlpdf-5.002.tar.gz : Updated version of the complete perl documentation in Adobe Acrobat format. $CPAN/authors/id/BMIDD/perlhtml-5.002.tar.gz : Updated version of the complete perl documentation in HTML format. Note that this suite of html uses 8.3 filenames, and is also Macintosh compatible. It also includes a master index.htm. Thus, even though the Macintosh and DOS ports of perl5 are not up to 5.002, and not all documented features in these documents will be compatible with Mac/DOS, you can at least read and store these docs from/on these OS's. $CPAN/authors/id/BMIDD/pod2html-1.19.gz : Latest version of pod2html, used to create perlhtml-5.002.tar.gz above. Configurable internally (edit the script) to suit your OS. If these have not propogated to your favorite CPAN site by the time you read this, you may grab them from ftp://ftp.metronet.com/pub/perl/authors/id/BMIDD. But please, to avoid overloading the metronet server, check your fave CPAN site first. Enjoy! Bill
