_F_a_i_l_u_r_e_s _o_f _A_i_r-_c_o_n_d_i_t_i_o_n_i_n_g _E_q_u_i_p_m_e_n_t

_A_r_g_u_m_e_n_t_s:

   hours: The time interval in hours between successive failures of the
          air-conditioning equipment 

_S_U_M_M_A_R_Y:

     Proschan (1963) reported on the times between failures of the
     air-conditioning equipment in 10 Boeing 720 aircraft. The
     `aircondit' data frame contains  the intervals for the ninth
     aircraft while `aircondit7' contains those for the seventh
     aircraft. 

     Both data frames have just one column.  Note that the data have
     been sorted  into increasing order.
