This version is BETA software! Up to now, I've mostly
got feature requests but very few bug reports, so I
assume that the program is not too bad ;-) But you'll
understand that an application with this version
number has its shortcomings.

Suggestions and bug reports are of course welcome.
My time is limited, so don't expect wonders.
Note: The diff feature only works if the cvs
server has a GNU diff installed.

Cervisia can be compiled both with KDE 1 and with
development versions of KDE 2. In order to compile
with kdelibs pre2.0, configure Cervisia with the
option --with-kde-version=2. Perhaps you'll have
to 'make clean' first.

If you switch from an earlier version of Cervisia,
or if you switch between the KDE 1 and KDE 2
versions, please delete your ~/.kde/share/config/cervisiarc
file, otherwise strange things may happen...

Some short usage notes (more documentation is
available via the help menu)

* On startup, a tree rooted in the sandbox is shown. I use this term instead
of the term 'working directory' used in the cvs documentation, because I
find the latter confusing. Dependent on the files and directories that are
shown here, menu items are disabled or enabled. For example, as it does
not make sense to view the Annotate Log of several files at
once, this function is only available if _one_ file is
selected. Since this may sometimes be irritating, a menu
item "Deselect All" is provided as well as an option which
  - if set - deselects all files after an update.

* The menu item Update does nothing if no files and no
directories are marked. This may change in the future.

* Status is in reality 'cvs update -n' which can't distinguish
"Needs Patch" and "Needs Merge" :-(
