This document details the features that are new to Red Hat Database 2.1.

Note: Red Hat recommends that you update your Red Hat Linux Advanced
Server 2.1, Red Hat Linux 7.3 or Red Hat Linux 8.0 environment to the latest
errata. There have been a number of issues addressed that could affect the
operation of Red Hat Database.

1. Migration

No data migration is necessary if updating a Red Hat Database 2.0
installation to Red Hat Database 2.1. However, we strongly recommend
users backup their databases before upgrading to Red Hat Database 2.1.

A dump / restore is required to migrate data from Red Hat Database for
Red Hat Linux 7.1.x to Red Hat Database 2.0/2.1.
